The Reboot course is centered around resistance training specifically designed to target the hip complex. What you learn from this course can be immediately applied to numerous class formats including boot camp classes, interval classes, and cardio classes for an extra boost. You will learn various body weight exercises and punch combinations to execute with a loop resistance band and show you how to create a continuous drill and/or incorporate them into a cardio kickboxing class to emphasize the connection between the low body strength and power and the punches.
Your Instructor
Shane Barnard, JD, is the creator of the UrbanKick format and instructor certifications. She is the co-founder of Urbanplay, a non-profit program for youth, and a fitness blogger for MyFitnessPal/Under Armour. With over 20 years of fitness experience, she is a nationally recognized presenter and currently teaches in the San Francisco, Bay Area. Shane is a CEC provider for NASM, AFFA, and ACE and a twice honored ambassador for lululemon.
