Overview

Mastering flow takes practice and experience. In this section, we will dive deeper into teaching sequences, coaching athletic/H.I.I.T. drills, and creating flow. You will continue to use spark cues and roadmaps to properly progress each sequence. You will decide what glue(s) to use in between the puzzle pieces to create the best flow. Remember, you can use multiple pieces of glue to get where you to get and usually the glue that gets you into a sequence is also a great glue to use to get out of the sequence.

Objectives:

  • Identify the glue(s) that will create flow from one puzzle piece to the next
  • Use spark cues and roadmaps to progress each sequence/drill and to seamlessly transition from one puzzle piece/glue to the next
  • Execute proper technique for each sequence and athletic/H.I.I.T. drills
  • Follow proper steps to progress each sequence
  • Teach to the 32-count phrase through the progressions for each sequence
  • Use language that offers progressions as OPTIONS, not requirements
  • Coach a H.I.I.T. drill by articulating the training variables
