Punch, Push Kick, and Striking Kick Technique
Understanding and executing proper technique is essential to teaching a safe and effective cardio kickboxing class. In this course, we will review proper technique and mechanics of the punches and kicks commonly used in class.

Shane Barnard, JD, is the creator of the UrbanKick format and instructor certifications. She is the co-founder of Urbanplay, a non-profit program for youth, and a fitness blogger for MyFitnessPal/Under Armour. With over 20 years of fitness experience, she is a nationally recognized presenter and currently teaches at Crunch, Athleta/Gap Inc., and the University of California at Berkeley where she is also a health coach. Shane is a CEC provider for NASM, AFFA, and ACE and a twice honored ambassador for lululemon.
